Description
The adventure begins every day between 6:45 and 8:00 with your pick up at your hotel in Holbox to the reception area. Once the group is together we go for a 1 ½ to 2 hour boat ride, once we find the whale shark, the guide will give instructions on how to enter the water, each person will have up to three opportunities to swim with the whale shark, and swimming time depends of the capacities of each swimmer. After the activity we go to a reef to do snorkeling while the captain and the guide prepare a delicious fish ceviche. We will also have a chance to see other kinds of marine species as dolphins, stingrays such as manta Diablo, Turtles, as well as different kinds of seabirds, this is once we enter the area of mangroves.
The private tour has the option to leave until 8:30 in the morning from your hotel to the boarding area and then take an hour and a half trip Once we find the whale shark, the guide gives instructions on how to enter the water, on this private tour you get the chance to swim with the whale shark as many time as you want, as long as you follow the rules of guide and captain. Also includes snorkeling in a reef area with opportunity to meet with other marine turtles, manta rays, dolphins and a wide variety of birds.
